Welcome to Love ∞, Sarah and Scott's Wedding Website.
Willkommen zu Love ∞, Sarah und Scott's Hochzeitswebseite.
There is no dresscode. However, if you would like to use this as an opportunity to wear something nicer, you are more than welcome to do so. Wear what you would feel comfortable wearing.
We don't expect or ask for any gifts. If you really want to give something, then a card with a lovely written message would be wonderful.
The bureaucratic portion of the wedding will happen at Rathaus Schöneberg at 1:20 PM. Only a small number of people can fit in the room at the Standesamt. You are however of course welcome to greet the bride and groom before and/or afterwards. Then head to the reception at Zenner.
Date: September 14th, 2024
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Zenner Alt-Treptow 15, 12435 Berlin
If you're traveling from abroad it's a good idea to see if your phone supports an "eSIM". Newer phones do not require a physical SIM card now, and it's possible to install an "eSIM" which allows you to use a specified amount of data. We have personally used airalo without problems.
Newer iPhones generally support this feature. For android this site might be helpful.
For those of you planning to take public transportation, then the BVG is your friend. This is the city wide public transportation authority. There's an app that's worth downloading that can help manage your tickets. There are no turnstyles in any of the trainstations and bus/tram drivers generally don't ask to see your ticket. There are however semi-undercover people that occasionally check tickets, so it's good to have one. If you're planning on staying in Berlin or Germany for a week or more, it might make sense to signup for the Deutschland Ticket or Berlin Ticket (more info here). The only thing to be careful is that these tickets are subscriptions and will renew every month.

Please also send in a song to play at the wedding!
There's no need to stay near the wedding venue. As long as you're staying somewhere in the city you should be fine.
The venue is a short walk away from the Treptower Park S-Bahn station. It is easily accessible by taxi as well.
For those of you that want get off the beaten path and see the good stuff.
